The easiest way to update or change your home decor is by changing paint color. If you’re looking for the best farmhouse paint colors, I’ve selected several great colors that are listed below. I’ve also included some farmhouse decor ideas at the bottom of the article.
What we consider to be “farmhouse style” today is a modern look on a timeless classic. Farmhouse colors are soft, muted colors with a mix of textures and patterns. You’ll find that farmhouse colors are usually a combination of whites, creams, beige, and pale blues and greens, gravitating more towards cool shades.

Farmhouse Paint Colors
Classic Gray- Benjamin Moore
Coventry Gray- Benjamin Moore
Coventry Gray has a lot of depth and is very versatile. It tends to lean a bit towards the blue/green side but not enough to take away from the gray. It works best in spaces with a mix of natural and artificial lighting. LRV: 48

Wedgewood Gray- Benjamin Moore
Wedgewood Gray is part of Benjamin Moore’s historical collection. It’s a nice, deep blue, with gray undertones. It stays pretty true to its color in natural and artificial lighting making it very versatile. LRV: 50
Palladian Blue- Benjamin Moore
Palladian Blue is a “mystical” color. Sometimes it looks blue, and other times it looks like seafoam green. This is very similar to Sherwin Williams Sea Salt, but Palladian blue is slightly darker. LRV: 61
Hale Navy- Benjmain Moore
Amherst Gray- Benjamin Moore
Amherst Gray is one step lighter than Kendall Charcoal. Depending on the lighting, this color can really show it’s green undertones. It’s a classic color that would also work well for furniture, accent walls, and especially as an exterior color. LRV: 17
